I began my journey into the martial art and fitness world as a 11 yr old, overweight
kid, that needed an escape from a tough childhood.  This escape, quickly became
my life's passion. Everyday for 5 years, I came home from school, did my
homework, went to my karate school and stayed until it closed.

I quickly gathered a small following of friends and fellow students which I began
assisting and training. I taught my first group karate/fitness class at 12 yrs old to
the new kids that joined the school. Soon after I became an assistant instructor as
a green and brown belt. I taught youth and adult, group and semi-private, karate
and fitness classes in addition to my own training.  

At the age of 17, I graduated high school and joined the U.S. Army.
I became an Infantry soldier and began the long journey of military life that
spanned over 20 years and included combat tours in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Throughout the years, I trained hundreds of soldiers, in fitness and martial arts.
When I was about to retire, I decided to do what I love and I became a certified
personal trainer and sports nutritionist.

Due to injuries sustained while on active duty, I couldn't run anymore, could barely
walk upstairs and I couldn't squat or bend my knees and my back was shot.
20 years of physical therapy and chiropractor visits did little to help. Through
following my own nutrition program and strength and conditioning program, that I
developed over the years, I am now able to sprint, run stairs, jump, squat, deadlift
and lunge with fairly heavy weight.  I have proven that my own methods work by
using it on myself.  

35 years later, I am using my tried and proven program to help people just like you.
